Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt has been gushing about the budding romance between the team’s tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Kelce and Swift have been dating since the summer and their love story has played out on the NFL stage with the pop star regularly attending his Chiefs games.
The 12-time Grammy Award winner’s presence at Arrowhead Stadium has drawn a lot of media attention and with it a new demographic of NFL fans. Gracie, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, was over the moon about the relationship between the two-time Super Bowl winner and the pop sensation – both for them and the franchise.
‘First of all, I think we’re all so excited to see two such phenomenal people happy,’ she said told Charly Arnolt on ‘OutKick the Morning.’ I mean, it’s so easy for us to cheer for and for the entire world to cheer for because they’re wonderful for each other, and it’s just been so fun to watch this love story unfold. So, that’s just been so special to see how happy they are.
‘And also, to have so many young, especially female fans, watching football, interested in football and maybe considering playing flag football and also cheering for the Chiefs.’ The Hunts appeared to have already given the romance their blessing earlier this month when they gave Swift a present for her birthday.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker celebrated her 34th birthday on December 13 in New York City but she spent the weekend before in Kansas City to support her NFL beau. And during the Chiefs’ loss to the Buffalo Bills, Gracie and her sister Ava gifted Swift with a special birthday present.
The Hunt sisters went viral when they shared photos of themselves giving Taylor an expensive-looking present in Kelce’s suite during the team’s game against the Bills. Social media had been awash with rumors of what the gift could have been and Tavia Hunt, wife of owner Clark, finally revealed the mystery present.
In a post, one fan asked Tavia: ‘PLEASE — the world is dying to know what in the world you buy as a gift for Taylor Swift!?!!?!?’ And, playing to the pop superstar’s occupation, it has now been announced the Hunt family gave Swift a Judith Leiber Minaudieres Swarovski microphone purse, worth an eyewatering $4,995.
