Travis Kelce is pumped up for the first night of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Paris.
The 34-year-old NFL star showed his excitement for his girlfriend’s first of four shows at La Défense Arena in Paris with a comment on an Instagram post shared by Swift’s guitarist, Paul Sidoti. Sidoti shared an image of him and Swift, 34, on stage from a previous concert and wrote, “The Eras Tour Europe starts tonight..Paris you’re up first.. who’s coming?,” adding the hashtags #TheErasTour and #4inarow to the caption.
Kelce commented, “Lfg!!!” (an acronym for “Let’s F—ing Go”) and a pair of celebratory hand emojis. Kelce’s comment garnered over 1700 likes and dozens of replies in less than a half hour. The NFL star has previously attended Swift’s shows in Singapore, Sydney, Buenos Aires and — of course — in Kansas City, where the first lines of their romance were written as Kelce attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his number.
Amid Kelce’s NFL offseason and Swift’s break from touring, the couple has been spending plenty of time together. The most recent sighting of Kelce and Swift came on April 27 when they were spotted supporting his Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes at a charity event in Las Vegas.
In a video montage from the Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic and Gala shared by the Chiefs quarterback on Instagram, Swift and Kelce were seen holding hands as they made their entrance into the gala. The couple were also spotted hand in hand in footage shared on X as they walked to their table at the event.
During his speech at the podium, Kelce revealed that he and his “significant other” had decided to put four of Swift’s Eras Tour tickets up for bidding at the event. “I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other,” he said in a video posted on TikTok. “And uh, we might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket.”
“Has anyone heard of the Eras Tour?,” he asked as guests in the room cheered. Soon, Kelce will turn his focus to the upcoming NFL season. On April 29, Kelce signed a contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs worth more than $17 million a year, which will make him the highest paid tight end in the league, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported.
He also recently completed filming for his new gig as the host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a new game show spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? that’s set to stream on Prime Video. And on Tuesday, May 7, a source told PEOPLE that the three-time Super Bowl champion was joining the cast of Ryan Murphy’s new FX series, Grotesquerie. Shortly after, his new co-star Niecy Nash-Betts posted a clip of the two hanging out together on set.
