Brittany Mahomes' tipping behavior kicks up a fuss: What did the wife of Patrick do?

Brittany said there has been a significant increase in “rude a– people” on the popular app. “Recently there has been ALOT more rude a– people on here, waaaay more then[sic] normal.” The mother-of-two, who shares daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes with Patrick, 28, added that she’s “not sure” what drew the added negativity to her profile. Concluding her message to social media trolls on Tuesday, Brittany wrote, “I’m not sure where y’all came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from…please.”

The stern address from Brittany isn’t the first time she’s called out negativity on social media. In 2021, the mother-of-two surprised a hater on Instagram when she responded to a rude comment on one of her posts. The comment on Brittany’s post read, “She most definitely twenty years from now is gonna be on some real house wifes of athletes type of show because for real what does she actually do.”

Brittany quipped back, “And you follow me why?” In August, she spoke about how the negative attention doesn’t bother her anymore. In a Q&A on Instagram, Brittany responded to a follower who had asked if it bothers her “when people continue to talk [badly] about” her. “It used to yes. But not anymore. I could give two s—s about people’s opinion of me that don’t even know me,” she wrote alongside a peace sign emoji.

In response to another question in which a fan asked about the emotional toll it takes “to have Patrick away so much,” the Kansas City Current co-owner was similarly candid. “Not easy but it is what it is. You learn and adapt as you go! He works hard and we are very appreciative of everything he does for our family,” she wrote.

Brittany and Patrick have also let fans into their personal lives away from social media as well, as stars of the first season of Quarterback on Netflix. On one episode of the docuseries, Brittany was frank about how she had to adapt to being in the spotlight.

“I was not prepared for this,” Brittany said of the intensity of life in the NFL. “And at such a young age. We were in love and I loved him with all of my heart. But, you know, I didn’t expect it to skyrocket this soon, and us kind of just being thrown into the fire like this.”
