Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s story might have been different if Patrick Kane hadn’t failed

Travis Kelce leaves the Chiefs team hotel as Taylor Swift lands in Kansas City to cheer him on at Arrowhead Stadium in a must-win game against Buffalo Bills

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship only seems to be going from strength to strength, but there was a time where she could have ended up on a different path with Patrick Kane. The 35-year-old NHL star reportedly blew his shot with Swift in the past, according to Chicago Blackhawks coach Denis Savard who played a role in stopping the situation from developing.

Savard revealed all on Thursday night’s telecast of the match between the Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks. Savard ruins Kane’s chances
Talking to NBC Sports Chicago, he explained what his rules were for running a team. “I said to the trainers, make sure all the players are on the bus. I want to be the last one on the bus and once, I get on the bus, that way we go,” he said. After a game in Nashville that the Seahawks won, Kane had a defensive lapse that annoyed the coach. Savard saw Kane chatting to two girls after the game before they got on the bus. “I see Kaner talking to two young ladies,” Savard said. “I stop and I go, ‘Really?’ I said, ‘Let’s go now.'” Kane begrudgingly obliged, but showed up at his coach’s hotel room the next morning. “He goes ‘Savy.’ I said, ‘What’s up?’ He goes, ‘So you know, last night?’ He goes, ‘That was Taylor Swift.’ I go okay. I don’t care.'” Perhaps if Savard had left Kane to continue his discussions with the girls, we may not be hearing so much about Travis Kelce and his exploits for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL.
