Travis Kelce is hoping to make Taylor Swift’s birthday one to remember. The Kansas City Chiefs player “has something special planned” for the “Cruel Summer” singer, who will turn 34 on Dec. 13, a source told Life & Style Thursday.
“He’s arranged a very intimate, romantic dinner just for the two of them, and is also trying to pull off a semi-surprise party with the help of some of her closest friends,” the insider shared. While it is unclear exactly what Kelce’s plans entail, the lovebirds have been spending a lot of time together ever since Swift finished the 2023 dates of her Eras Tour last month. Following her final show of the year in Brazil, the “Anti-Hero” singer flew straight to Kansas City, Mo., to spend time with her beau. After hunkering down together for nearly week, Swift returned home to New York City Tuesday — though she is expected to make the trek back to the Midwest this weekend to watch Kelce’s game against the Buffalo Bills. However, Swift and Kelce found time to hang out together even before the singer’s concerts wrapped. In fact, the “Karma” songstress and the NFL star quietly rang in the latter’s 34th birthday together in October. Page Six exclusively confirmed at the time that Swift had secretly flown to Kansas City to spend the weekend with Kelce; however, the pair opted for a “chill night” in rather than a lavish celebration.
Despite the low-key weekend, Kelce was able to hit the town earlier in the week alongside several of his friends to commemorate his big day. While fans originally believed the pair’s romance started in September, Swift revealed during her recent Time Person of the Year interview that they have actually been together since July. The “All Too Well” singer explained that the twosome “started hanging out right after” Kelce “adorably” tried to give her his phone number at one of her Eras Tour concerts. “We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she said in the profile published Wednesday.
