Travis Kelce shared his excitement after attending Coachella 2024 with Taylor Swift, describing it as an incredible experience during his recent “New Heights” podcast episode.
“I love live music, man,” Kelce expressed to his brother and podcast co-host, Jason Kelce, on Wednesday. “I just like going to events, going to places where people are, seeing talents.” He emphasized that they preferred the festival’s energetic atmosphere over being backstage. Kelce, 34, enthusiastically recounted the performances he enjoyed, including Bleachers, Dom Dolla, and Jungle on Saturday. When Jason, 36, questioned why they didn’t watch from backstage with the musicians, Travis admitted that they preferred to immerse themselves in the crowd’s excitement.
“I want to see it from the front of the stage. We probably could have finessed it that way, but I think it’s that much more of an experience if you’re in the pit, in the madness with the fans,” Kelce explained.
Is Taylor Swift helping the Kelce brothers move merch?
During the podcast, the Kelce brothers also revealed that the green “New Heights” hat worn by Swift at Coachella quickly sold out but was later restocked due to popular demand, with Travis acknowledging Swift’s support of his podcast.
Kelce attended Coachella sporting his own unique style with a “Happy Gilmore” hat, a white shirt, a flannel, and striped jeans, while Swift opted for an all-black ensemble, complete with a leather jacket, Gucci sneakers, and a budget-friendly Halara skirt. The couple was captured on camera dancing together in the festival crowds, with a lip reader noting that Swift apologized to Kelce for being drunk. Later at the Neon Carnival afterparty, hosted by “Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy, Swift and Kelce indulged in public displays of affection, including making out, while Kennedy deejayed the event.
Kennedy shared his excitement on Instagram Stories, boasting about “setting the mood” for Swift and Kelce’s PDA, and expressing delight at Swift’s reaction to his remix of her hit song “Cruel Summer.” The couple’s Coachella escapades contrast with a resurfaced interview where Swift expressed her desire for a “normal” relationship without the need to hide from public scrutiny.
