Travis, 34, and the Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders, while 36-year-old Jason and the Eagles face off against the New York Giants. Despite having to work on the holiday, Travis tells PEOPLE, “It will be a fun one.” Jason and Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, is known to attend both of her sons’ games on the same day, but the Chiefs kick off at 1 p.m. ET and the Eagles start their game just a few hours later at 4:30 p.m on Christmas.

And while Travis didn’t reveal what his mom’s plans are for the holiday, the NFL star says that Christmas will be celebrated on a later date following their games. “My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating afterwards,” Travis says, while also confirming that he plans to celebrate after or the next day as well.

While the Chiefs tight end might be spending Christmas day with his brother, he knows that he can count on Chiefs kingdom to by his side.
“The kingdom always travels,” Travis says, acknowledging the fans that showed their support during Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots in Massachusetts. “We always travel well.” The two-time Super Bowl winner, whose relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift has been at the forefront of the Chiefs’ 2023 season, adds, “It’s always a luxury playing for Kansas City — home and away.”

The Chiefs, meanwhile, clinched a 27-17 win over Patriots on Sunday with Swift, 34, cheering Travis on as Kansas City snapped their two-game losing streak.

The “Karma” singer watched from a suite at Gillette Stadium alongside her dad, Scott Swift. The two were decked out in Chiefs gear, showing off their team spirit. Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also joined the pair in the box.
During the third quarter of the matchup in Massachusetts, Swift was visibly upset over a no-call involving Patriots player Myles Bryant.

Afterward, Kelce threw up his hands and looked to the referees, seemingly upset that they did not call pass interference on Bryant, and Swift was equally — if not more — upset.

Luckily, the Chiefs still turned the drive into a scoring one, taking their four-point lead up to seven points with a field goal seconds later.

And, call or no-call, Kelce and the Chiefs got their desired outcome, maintaining their lead and clinching a 27-17 win over the Patriots.

Later, after learning of Swift’s reaction to their play, Bryant says he was not surprised by her enthusiasm. “It’s a high-stakes game. People get real into it, so it’s cool,” he tells PEOPLE. “It’s cool she’s into it.”
