DEVELOPING: Neighbors are clashing with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce over security updates at their new $5.35M Ohio estate. A Bratenahl village review board meeting just revealed local residents are pushing back against their 10-foot landscaping plan to shield the Lake Erie mansion from onlookers
The newlywed power couple of pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are facing unexpected community pushback before even officially moving into their historic lakeside estate.

Tensions are reportedly escalating in the secluded village of Bratenahl, Ohio—just outside of Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland Heights—after local residents and a municipal review board formally objected to the couple’s extensive privacy and security remodeling plans
The $5.35 Million Historic Estate
Purchased by Kelce in March 2026 shortly before the couple’s massive July wedding at Madison Square Garden, the sprawling 21,000-square-foot lakefront property known historically as “Moyenage” sits on 3.5 acres overlooking Lake Erie. The massive property features eight bedrooms, an in-home spa, a resort-style swimming pool, and a converted ballroom.
However, transforming the century-old property into a celebrity-proof fortress has proved to be a major headache for the high-profile couple.

During a recent session of the Bratenahl Architectural Review Board, local residents turned up to air explicit grievances over Swift and Kelce’s rear-yard screening blueprints.
